Handcrafted Marble Jewellery Box with Blue Lotus Semi-Precious Stone Inlay | Pietra Dura Marble Trinket Box from Agra
Discover timeless elegance with this handcrafted marble jewellery box, beautifully decorated with a blue lotus floral motif using the ancient Pietra Dura (marble inlay) technique. Handcrafted by skilled artisans in Agra, this piece reflects the same artistic heritage seen in the Taj Mahal’s exquisite marble inlay work.
Carved from premium white Makrana marble, the jewellery box features a graceful lotus design symbolizing purity, peace, and spiritual harmony. The fine balance of deep blue tones with subtle multicolor accents gives this piece a refined, luxurious appeal—perfect for both décor and jewellery storage.
Semi-Precious Stones Used
The intricate lotus and floral vines are created using carefully hand-cut natural stones:
-
Lapis Lazuli – Rich royal blue stone symbolizing wisdom, calmness, and royalty
-
Carnelian – Warm orange-red accents representing energy, creativity, and positivity
-
Turquoise – Soft blue-green stone associated with tranquility and protection
-
Mother of Pearl (Shell) – Adds natural iridescence and luminous highlights
-
Malachite – Green detailing symbolizing balance, growth, and harmony
Each stone is individually shaped, polished, and precisely inlaid into the marble, ensuring a smooth surface, strong durability, and long-lasting color brilliance.
