Handcrafted Marble Jewellery Box with Peacock Floral Semi-Precious Stone Inlay | Pietra Dura Marble Art Box from Agra
Showcasing the elegance of Indian heritage craftsmanship, this handcrafted marble jewellery box features a magnificent peacock and floral motif, intricately created using the traditional Pietra Dura (marble inlay) technique. Handcrafted by master artisans in Agra, this piece reflects the same artistic legacy seen in the inlay work of the Taj Mahal.
Made from premium white Makrana marble, the jewellery box is adorned with a vibrant peacock design symbolizing beauty, grace, prosperity, and immortality. The detailed floral elements and elegant border enhance its luxurious appeal, making it both a functional storage box and a statement décor piece.
Semi-Precious Stones Used
The intricate inlay artwork is composed of carefully hand-cut and polished natural stones:
-
Lapis Lazuli – Deep royal blue stone symbolizing wisdom, royalty, and elegance
-
Malachite – Rich green stone representing growth, harmony, and prosperity
-
Turquoise – Blue-green accents associated with calmness and positive energy
-
Carnelian – Warm orange-red stone symbolizing vitality and creativity
-
Mother of Pearl (Shell) – Adds natural iridescence and refined shimmer
Each stone is precisely shaped and inlaid by hand into the marble surface, ensuring a smooth finish, excellent durability, and long-lasting color brilliance.
